The new Galeon 620 Fly wins the “Best
Innovation Trophy” at the World Yachts
Trophies 2025 at the Cannes Yachting Festival
A major international distinction for the new Galeon 620 Fly, which in its debut appearance won the Best Innovation Trophy at this year’s World Yachts Trophies, held during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025.
The World Yachts Trophies, organized by Yachts France magazine, are among the most prestigious global awards in the yachting world, highlighting each year the finest and most innovative yachts. The Best Innovation category stands out for its intense competition and the recognition it provides to models that introduce new technologies and design solutions, reshaping the market landscape.
The Galeon 620 Fly impressed the jury with its unique innovations, such as:
• The impressive fold-out balconies (Beach Mode / Terrace Mode) expanding the beam from 5.04m to 7.05m. • The spacious 55 m² flybridge. • The hydraulic platform and the pioneering use of exterior and interior spaces, particularly the direct access from the Master Cabin. • The full-height panoramic windows that flood the interior with natural light.
Measuring 19.68 meters in length with a top speed of 31 knots, the Galeon 620 Fly combines technological innovation, luxury, and performance, setting new standards in its class.
Extravagant Yachts, as the exclusive Galeon representative in Greece, brings this important recognition closer to the Greek audience.
“The awarding of the Galeon 620 Fly with the Best Innovation Trophy is a confirmation of Galeon’s philosophy of leading in design and technology. We are particularly proud to represent Galeon in the Greek market and look forward to presenting the new model to Greek yachting enthusiasts,” said a representative of Extravagant Yachts.
The next major presentation of Galeon’s models in Greece will take place at the Olympic Yacht Show, in Lavrio, in October 2025.
The award was received by renowned designer Tony Castro and Marketing Director Ida Czajka. More material will be available in the coming days.
